From San Antonio D' Los Baños, Cuba, in 1999 Chendy Léon moved to Toronto, and with Jane Bunnet, Hilario Duran, Alberto Alberto, Luis Mario Ochoa and many others, Chendy Léon Jr. became of a key part of the explosion of cuban talent that transformed latin music in Canada. Since 2006 Chendy started working with Canada's internationally acclaimed famous guitarist Jesse Cook touring internationally.
