Rick Shadrach Lazar is Leader/Producer of Afro-Blocko Samba Squad and Global Jazz Group Montuno Police.
He has recorded and toured internationally with artists Loreena McKennitt, Bruce Cockburn, Jesse Cook and Barry White amongst others.
Rick is a first call session player for records, TV and film projects in Toronto, as well being a music professor at York University.
Rick is an innovative player/producer and played a key role in the World Music explosion on the Canadian scene.
